Hey everyone! I was wondering, where online have you gotten a pothos that is doing really well for you? I got mine and it went downhill super fast, partly due to the pot I had it in but now even the node cuttings I am trying to prop aren’t working so well. So I’m thinking maybe it’s also in part of where I got it from…

Following! Because I just bought a pothos and it’s all bent out of shape and looks weird im a new plant mom and not sure where to begin with it

Oh no! I’d try to cut off props with nodes before it’s too late, I feel like I waited too long with my weird one lol

Yours actually doesn’t look too bad, except for the yellow stem and leaf which I’d cut off, I’d unwrap it and see how it goes maybe take a healthy cutting or two lol

Agreed! Looks great but prob needs a bigger pot with some good well draining soil

If it’s in a bad soil that could be the issue, it usually doesn’t matter where they come from. I’ve gone to big box stores and small plant shops and they pretty much use the same dense soil mix.

not online but i got mine from Lowes and she’s doing great! after about a month of quarantine i repotted her into some better draining soil, but she wasn’t struggling too much before then

I’ve found buying in person to be the best… I know not possible for some but being able to see it first helps. Also when you buy online you never know what happens to them before they get to you during transport :( with that said— I’ve bought online and in person from The Sill and have always liked what I’ve gotten!

I’ve gotten a couple pothos online from BWH, and they’ve come in great condition!

Ooo okay, I’ll look into them too, not like I need to do anymore plant shopping but can always sneak one more in lol

I bought this one two weeks ago from House Plant Shop and she’s going really good, having a few new leaves now.
