# Hello everyone! i just joined this group and hope to help and learn…

_Posted by kalli on 2024-03-23_

Hello everyone! i just joined this group and hope to help and learn from you all! Here are some props i have because i want a fuller plant. I decided to do a big chop on my golden. I also recently got some cuttings from my local plant shop of a marble queen. I’m expecting a pearls and jade from canopy plant co. in the mail within next couple days.

I seem to have quite a bit of white variegation on some leaves of my golden as well. I hope to separate them from the yellow to increase the white variegations. So, if anyone has any tips on growing props please let me know.

I tested two in perlite, most in water, and my marble queen in a chunky soil/ prop box because they already had been rooted in soil. Thanks for any help you guys can give!

(p.s …and yes in the background i am cultivating lady finger cactus cuttings in a mcdonald’s hot cake container… i save what i can lol)

i came here to say that i love that you repurposed the hotcake container!

before i throw out anything my first thought is “can i use this for a plant?” 😂 i’m not buying a candle unless i can put a plant in it after 😤

i hoard all containers. I even have huge spice containers i got from my job. They used to have black pepper garlic, etc. Now they store perlite, rocks, and orchid bark when i’m not out lol.

yes! i suggest reusable cereal boxes, like the plastic storage containers. Easy access for storage and you can see what you have left
