# Help! I wanted to add a wooden plank to my golden and when I put it…

Help! I wanted to add a wooden plank to my golden and when I put it in, the bottom cut a good amount of roots off. There are still a lot on the main stem but I’m worried now. I ended up taking the whole thing out to put the plank in and reposition everything. I’m just wondering if there’s anything I can do now to ensure it doesn’t stunt it too much. Thanks!

Moss poles are better.
