# A friend recommended propagating pothos in my fish tank as the love…

A friend recommended propagating pothos in my fish tank as the love the nutrient in the water, and it’s in indirect light. I a been here in the corn for about 6 months and has grown LONG roots but no new leaves. Roots have 1-2 foot branches and go all over the back on the tank. Any tips to encourage leaf growth?

might be that since there’s so much space for your roots, the plant’s focusing on growing out roots instead of the leaves. maybe move it to a bowl that you fill with fish tank water instead!

It might not be getting enough light. Pothos are somewhat slow growers though
