# Hi! New to plants and I was gifted this pothos last year! I repotted…

Hi! New to plants and I was gifted this pothos last year! I repotted it in December after planta told me to due to overwatering. It seems to be doing well but what are these little brown leaves? It looks like leaves that died maybe? I have no idea.

Ya it a Philodendron Brazil, pothos vine are thickets and don’t have the casings where new leaves come out. They just grow from under the leaf

I had the same thing happen! I just learned today that I had a heart shaped leaf philodendron that I had labeled as a pothos for almost two years! 😅
