I have gorgeous golden pothos that I received for Mother’s Day of this year Had to repot her few times due to wrong soils and bugs She been on high top of bookshelf in right corner few feet away from west facing window She haven’t really grown much yet but did sprouted few leaves. One of them are black not sure what’s it meant Rest of them seems trying to thrive so I decide to move her more closer to west facing window on plant shelf stand for more indirect light Suggestion?? Much thanks ✨✨✨ ## 2 comments ### Hba commented on 2024-07-12 Most of the time, black or rotted leaves indicate watering issues. Are you letting it completely dry out between waterings? When I repot, my plants always take a bit of time before they really start growing again. I’ve always assumed the plant focuses on establishing roots in the new soil before putting out new growth. This is just my own tin foil hat theory! #### JenJen replied on 2024-07-12 I don’t follow the Planta schedule I always check soil by using chopstick I’ll let it dry out before watering again now that she is closer to west facing window --- _Source: the Planta community (https://getplanta.com).
