# I have a love/hate towards an African Violet. I love when I buy them.…

I have a love/hate towards an African Violet. I love when I buy them. Then it stops flowering. All I get for MONTHS is green leaves; NO FLOWERS! What am I doing wrong?

Look up African violet fertilizer, mine stop for a month and then flower for 2 with it

i water every time with african violet fertilizer. they flower constantly!

Mine wasn’t blooming and I put it under a grow light and now she’s beautiful!!

My mom has had one for over 20 years and she’s never fertilized it. She keeps it in a north facing window like right infornt of the window and it flowers all the time. She has some babies that she’s propagated off of the mother plant and she treats them the same way

Mine never stops flowering. It’s in a west facing window, waters every two weeks especially bottom water and let her sit in it for a looooong time. Fertilize maybe once a month because I forget often. They don’t like being repotted though. She’s about 3-4 years old now.
