# I’ve grown this pothos from cuttings off another pothos which has now…

I’ve grown this pothos from cuttings off another pothos which has now died. I’ve always thought this was a golden pothos, but after seeing photos of a jade pothos I’m not so sure. Can anyone tell me of this is a jade or golden pothos?

You can always try giving it more light and seeing if any new leaves begin to variegate. Unless you already have it closer to a window, which likely means it’s a jade. I had a golden who was in lower light and I thought it was a jade and I moved it to better lighting and it started variegating, and I’ve seen plants with variegation revert to no variegation because of lower light. Conditions are everything!
