You can cut them down into multiple props each if you wanted. As long as each prop has one leaf / node you should be fine. I’ve had mine even just grow from a node with no leaf. As far as advice to actually get it to root, just make sure you keep water in there. They say to change the water like once a week, but I only ever change mine if the water looks murky. They root very quickly.

If anyone sees it’s been about 1 and half week or so in water no roots any help?

Yes I’ve changed the water

Just give it time. That’s still pretty soon to see roots. You can try putting it closer to a window for better light!
