# Hello, can anyone help me figure out what’s wrong with my golden…

Hello, can anyone help me figure out what’s wrong with my golden pothos? These yellow leaves just happened overnight. It’s been droopy for the last week so I tried to up the humidity or give it more light and nothings working

I would be concerned about overwatering/root rot.

I think so. I’d definitely want to be checking what’s going on under the soil if I’d exhausted all other possibilities.

Looks like overwatering or too much sun. If it is root rot I’d repot with fresh soil (be sure to use perlite and/or orchid bark for extra aeration) and make sure pot has drainage holes. Also cut off any squishy rotted areas of roots

root rot!! omg it could be that !! take the soil out and dry off roots with paper towel. change soil and clean the pot, take off all nasty roots and then repot it 😢 water and fertilize

It was DEFINITELY root rot ! I reported and tried to clean up the roots but it wasn’t getting any better so I cut her up and moved her to water 😓
