any tips on how to get rid of the brown spots on the stems?? i don’t think this is normal,

If you’re talking about the brown tissue paper like stuff, it’s completely normal ☺️ you can remove it for aesthetic reasons, but if you do, just make sure not to damage the stems

It is completely normal, it pretty much like left over sheath from where the leaf emerged. I usually just get a towel with warm water \& rub the stems \& it almost peels off on its own. Not removing won’t do any harm to your plants but for aesthetic reasons I sometimes wipe mine off. A bit tedious but possible
