# I’m having such trouble with a mealy bug infestation. I go over it…

I’m having such trouble with a mealy bug infestation. I go over it with neem oil on Q tips, and get deep into the crevices but it keeps coming back. Should I try something more potent? If so, any suggestions?

I would take it out the soil and soak the whole plant in water and soap. The bugs can live in the soil. Then I would spray it in the sink w ur faucet house, spray it w keep oil and let it air dry. Really get in all the little crevices in the roots. Then repot w new soil, add systemic granules and water as usual

Rubbing alcohol on a q-tip, dab onto the mealys you can see. Repeat until they’re gone. It’s an instant kill. Just make sure not to spill any in the pot, it can hurt the roots of the plant.
