Hey y’all! I just got my first manjula pothos! I know the app says that it likes low light but all of my other pothos like a good bit of sun… Do any of y’all have experience with them and sun? Thanks!

I have mine in a south window and it loves it. This plant needs a lot of light since it has so much white variegation

That’s what I was thinking! All of my pothos are in south windows too and very happy so I’ll def put it there. Thank you!!

I have mine under a grow light and it loves it! But previously I had it in a South facing window and it did well too. I definitely would put it somewhere with bright indirect light, like in front of any window except West facing (the late afternoon sun would likely burn the leaves)

Oh that’s good to know! Thanks! Do you know if grow lights take up a lot more energy or not? I wouldn’t want my energy bill to go up too much but I like the idea of being able to put my plants in different spots than just being limited to the sun!

I have mine in an east facing window- it threw me a new leaf right away once I switched it to this window. I’d had it for awhile and nothing ever happened until I moved it. All my pothos are in east facing windows

Oh interesting! I’ll keep that in mind if mine starts to have issues.

I actually have a few of mine outside! One of my pothos are right at the edge of my porch(VERY close to direct light) and shes doing perfectly fine. You can pretty much keep them wherever. Low light higher light, anything! If you want faster growth though then place it where theres more light like on a porch or east window

Mine prefer east windows. The LED grow lights don't use a lot of electricity, so I have a timer for mornings ! Good luck
