# Conny is a satin potho I saved from a shop! it hasn’t been repotted…

Conny is a satin potho I saved from a shop! it hasn’t been repotted yet but I was wondering if Pothos like a “chunky mix” with perlite and things like that! It would be amazing if you could comment on soil mixes that would work best for my baby 😁

My pothos like chunky soil! About 50% high quality potting soil then a mixture of chunky things like perlite, orchid bark, etc is what I have been gradually switching mine over to as they need repotting!

Most if not all my plants like well draining soils, including my pothos. I did a mixture of cactus soil, orchid soil, high quality starter soil and perlite. I got 8oz bags of each and mixed them all together. My plants seem to love the mixture.

Mine love a chunky mix! I don’t know if the ratio matters as long as the plant can retain moisture and breathe. It’s been really fun experimenting for myself. I’ve actually made a few WAY more well draining than I had planned. Lesson learned!
