I am very new to plants and was given this beautiful plant by a friend, it has been struggling to grow for over a month. Also does anyone know what’s the name? I was told it’s Devil’s ivy.  
Any tips or suggestions? Please help!

wipe the leaves!!! and where is it placed ?

It’s placed at the living room window

It looks like an anthurium to me

Yeah maybe anthurium… I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you it’s not a Pothos/Devil’s Ivy. Good luck with ID-ing.
