Hello everyone. :) My lovely friend gave me this golden pothos cutting. I know you're supposed to propagate in water until roots are like an inch or two long. If the aerial roots are already this long, do I need to do that? Or can I just plant into soil? Thank you!! ❤️

I’ve found they usually have a higher chance of survival and growth when i water propagate but you sure can just stick those nodes into some soil and they’ll still grow 🫶

Pothos are very resilient and will do well in soil. Just be sure to let your cuts callous over to reduce rot
