# I have this satin pothos/scindapsus exotica cutting that I got…

I have this satin pothos/scindapsus exotica cutting that I got partially rooted. I accidentally let the cup that it was in completely dry out and I’m worried now that it won’t recover :( just wanted to get a second opinion and see if this is still a viable cutting. I have used rooting powder on it and the leaf is still healthy, but the root doesn’t look happy.

I’ve don’t this plenty. I just plop it back in water and most of the time it will push out more roots. Good luck!
