I only water mine when it’s bone dry and it doesn’t seem to mind. Like once every 3-4 weeks. But, mine are inside so the watering schedule might be different for outside.

Is there a way to avoid “inconsistent watering”issues then if I change the schedule?

I use a moisture meter. I find that my pothos can get overwatered very easily so I either keep them in terracotta or wait till they’re dry until watering.

Oh I didn’t think about a terracotta! It’s in plastic now.
