# I was told by Planta identification and another identification app…

I was told by Planta identification and another identification app (Seek) and they both say I have a golden pothos. It’s just that I feel like my pothos is so much brighter than a normal golden pothos so I’m a little confused. Could I get everyone’s opinion? Thank you so much!

I think I agree with you. There should be much more contrast between the lighter and darker parts. But not sure what else it could be.

I did some more research and I think it is a neon pothos! But I’ll still wait to see if anyone else agrees

Unfortunately a lot of cultivars originated from 'Golden Pothos' so a lot of pic ID default to it.
