Hey everyone! I need help identifying this cactus from Mexico that was donated by a friend. It’s definitely not healthy and I know it was dropped when it was a younging. Please help me know how to fix it. It’s also hard to touch as the needle will stick to my hand and make them itchy

I’m pretty sure it’s a Joseph’s Coat. I don’t know what others might say, but going completely against advice, mine loves water and does not like direct sun outdoors. But I’m also in Arizona so that throws everything off.

I’m in Wisconsin so the sun is a little lighter here lol
