I’m gonna go with undatus!

“The two are most easily distinguishable by the “scalloped” stems vs straight stems on the dragon fruit and dog tail, respectively.

Even on juvenile dragon fruit plants, the stems develop a “segmented” or “scalloped” appearance, remaining intact but tapering to a much thinner diameter before returning to its original size- repeating this pattern as it continues to grow in length.

In contrast, the diameter of Dog tail stems remain uniform, increasing in size proportional to its growth as a whole.”
