I ordered a Medinilla Scortechinii plant off etsy and this is what I received. Does anyone know what it is? Definitely isn't a Medinilla.

I’m not sure what both are, but If it isn’t what u ordered then send them a photo of it, see if you can get a refund or replacement

The thing is, I’m guessing it was listed as a Medinilla Scortechinii, he says in the post this isn’t a Medinilla, anyway he got a refund which is good!!

Definitely request a refund. Possibly a Salad tree Abelmoschus manihot

I have received a refund, but I'd still like to know what the plant is and if I want to put tue effort into keeping it or not.

They sent you a refund, but didnt tell you what it was? 😆 I've looked through a sellers store too, to identify a miss send.

The seller was not friendly or accommodating. Took over 5 days to reply, and didn't reply until I reported it. Then scolded me for reporting it and not waiting for a reply, after waiting 5 days. I didn't want to speak to them at all.

I'd really just like to know what it is though. I was thinking a papaya tree maybe? I don't think it's a philodendron because it has a trunk like stem. 🤷‍♂️

I think so, unless it gets too big or attracts bugs. Atleast until I know what it is for sure.
