Hello everyone! I just picked up this mystery guy and am stuck between Sweet Marjoram and Italian Oregano! I’m lost because the tag found near it was a $2 parsley start. 😂

I think it’s Italian oregano, but I only say that because the leaves are slightly different from marjoram.

oregano has a much tangier, spicier flavor than marjoram. marjoram also has a milder, almost sweet flavor. i’d suggest tasting a leaf to find out for sure

I did a taste test and it is in fact Italian Oregano!
