Looks like a snake plant but don’t know what type it is

i get either snake plant or orchid so i’m a little thrown off.. 🫠

What do the roots look like? Snake plants typically have fine roots that stay under the soil, and bigger root-like parts that grow pups off of the mother plant. Orchids typically have thick tube-like roots that often grow above the soil

It does look like a snake… but with WHITE variegation?? I’m intrigued…..

confirmed, it’s a snake plant! looks like the variegation is due to too much sunlight according to my local garden center..
