# Hi! I’m a beginner plant owner and I have no idea what plant this is…

_Posted by Leigh on 2025-04-25_

Hi! I’m a beginner plant owner and I have no idea what plant this is and if it’s growing correctly… It came with the house I moved into and I’ve just been occasionally watering it for 2 years with no clue/care as to what it is. I just recently started taking interest in house plants so now I’m curious! Its texture defiantly freaks me out a bit but it’s interesting! Let me know, thank you!!😊

It looks like some type of ephylliilum.. ps.. I did not spell that right lol. Aka orchid cactus. They need a high amount of light. So the "leaves" flatten out again.
