# One of my new favorite plant babies! But it’s a home depot find that…

One of my new favorite plant babies! But it’s a home depot find that I’ve had for about a month. The label says it’s a Schismaglottis Rivera, however I cannot find any care info on it🙁 so far I’ve been treating it like a peace lily as far as watering and light requirements go….lmk if you know anything more about this plant!

It’s a variegated Dieffenbachia, possibly the 'Sterling' variety, also known as Sterling Dumb Cane. It’s often confused with Homalomena or Schismatoglottis.

I believe the plant was labeled correctly.

Keep the soil moist, water when it’s like less than halfway dry. Dont let them dry all the way out. Well draining soil, like an aroid mix. Bright indirect light. They like humidity if you have a humid spot, but it will be fine in ambient conditions!
