# I have had this plant since oct of 2023, i bought it at trader joe’s…

I have had this plant since oct of 2023, i bought it at trader joe’s and they called it a twisted hollow tree or something similar. it lost all of its leaves in december and i lost hopes. i stopped watering it bc i forgot abt it in my big jungle and now im starting to take care of it again. Please tell me what type of plant this is and maybe some info abt how to take care of it😭

I’m pretty sure it’s actually a Ginseng Ficus!

Of course I water it every week it’s a form of bonsai so you will need to keep it in good drainage with direct sunlight!

hey! ours did this and we took it to a local bonsai nursery and they told us to do a recovery bath, so soak it for about 5 minutes then we let it dry out completely and went back to normal watering and it grew back all of its leaves within a month :)
