Got this syngonium on a whim one day cause it was $6 @ a nursery…thought I’d kill it, but to my surprise it’s doing pretty well (despite the sun scorch😆). Does anyone know what it is??

That would be Caladium Moonlight (Angel Wings) you’ve got there. Beautiful! I’ve been wanting one for a while!

Ahh thank you. I don’t know why I thought it was syngonium 🤦‍♀️😆 yes she’s beautiful, loves being in semihydro I noticed!☺️

Nice! What’s your mixture? Never had a semi hydro plant before

I actually just started looking into semihydro myself (esp. for my more finicky/moister loving plants (that are also prone to root rot!) This one is in lechuza pon and she was thriving so much in it, she even gave me a baby who is also in pon! What’s great about Pon is that you just have to make sure the “reservoir” (bottom of the cover pot/cup) is full and the water barely touches roots! Basically the science behind Pon is that the rocks are able to absorb the water more evenly then soil but it also allows for air pockets (so the roots can get lots of aeration, thus eliminating any chances of rot - game changer, if you ask me!
