# Does anyone have any idea what this little rascal might be? The app…

Does anyone have any idea what this little rascal might be? The app keeps saying a peperomia but I can’t seem to accept that because the peperomias for sale in my area (Mid-Atlantic USA) never ever look like this. I bought it at a local chain grocery store and even the florist there couldn’t help. The leaves are thick, full of water, and smell like Romain lettuce when punctured. They have a bit of “fur” on them also. The edges curl in, even on new babies.

It’s from LiveTrends Design. I guess I could’ve looked on their site (if they have one) but I was already in the app so I figured I’d check in with my community first :)

Also, there seems to be some type of deficiency on the leaves but maybe we can save that for after we figure out what we’re looking at.

It kinda looks like my ruby necklace. But mine has reddish stems. I read that they can be red, green or purple. Maybe? 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you look closely at hers, the leaves are actually flat. I thought it was this kind as well, but when you look close the leaves are flat. Not round like this succulent. My phone is saying it’s a waxflower 🤷🏼‍♀️

My phone says waxflower, radiator plant, jade necklace, and porcelainflower… all peperomias but none of the search results look like the one I have😵‍💫

Yeah they’re not a complete ‘bulb’.. it’s like they’re flat with curled edges. It reminds me of a string of \[anything succulent\], but does really have any other properties other than plump, water filled leaves/petals/whatever we’re calling these lol
