It does look a lot like foxtail agave.

I’m just confused because it says it needs full sun but this one has been doing great with almost no light

How fast has it been growing because with agave they usually do fine in low light and just grow super slow

It honestly hasn’t grown much so that makes sense, thank you!

Mmmm are you sure this isn't a sansevieria plantlet? The leaves texture dont look right for agave to me. That would explain the low light being fine. Certain types like black dragon and jade star start out light colored and darken up. The darkening can take longer if it's only given low light.

My dad has a more mature one than mine and it definitely isn’t a sansevieria but thanks for trying to figure it out!

A more mature what? Of the plant here? I think most people are used to the upright sansevieria, but there are other star shaped species that look like this

You know what, I just looked at some and you might be right!

They are so different from the traditional right? I'd never seen them till the nursery here started carrying a bunch of different kinds
