Hi! Plant beginner here; working to learn more every day 😊
Can someone help me ID this plant? Is this oregano? Previous owners planted it and it’s seems to grow and spread every day. I would like to transplant it into a container if it in fact is edible oregano but want to make sure I am not ingesting something that isn’t meant to be ingested 😆

There is an app called PictureThis and it is a very good plant identifying app, you should try it out on this!
