Recently got this in a trade, was told its was a “Purple Coleus”. Im assuming its is a Coleus but i was hoping to find the exact variation it is. The middles is a deep red wine color and the outside is a medium leaning towards darker green, on some of the leaves where it connects to the stem the veins are very pale yellow nearly white.

I probably spent a week searching for the exact variation of my coleus.. to no avail 😭😭🤣🤣 there's just sooooo many

Your coleus looks a little like my purple passion, but she has fuzzy leaves

Ooo! Do you happen to have any photos? Because that might actually be it, mine are fuzzy as well, just doesn’t catch on camera lol

I would Google these ones and see which one looks like it, when I Google which coleus is purple with fuzzy leaves it comes up that it's not a coleus but a purple passion 🤣🤣🤦‍♀️ the purple passion is also called The velvet plant so it's velvety fuzzy

She's under a grow light that's the only place she's happy in my house lol so that's why she looks a little pinkish but she's a dark purple and very fuzzy and the leaves are kind of spiky on the tips she's a little limp because I transplanted her a week ago she still coming around she's a little fussy one

There is a variegated version of this purple passion plant and the variegation is PINK , it's expensive, it's on my list 🤗

My husband looked at your picture and it definitely looks a lot more like the coleus leaves, the edges are more round, and when I say fuzzy leaves I mean super super thick fuzzy

I have that same plant! Here’s an older pic. It is a coleus but I’m also unsure as to what type. I’m sorry.
