Maybe a burro’s tail? It’s hard to tell.

Should I water it regularly until it grows a bit more? And if so, how regularly

I would pop it off that dried up stem and find a tiny (teeny, tiny) pot to put it in. It should keep growing.

Yup! Spray the top of soil x2 times a day (if it dries quickly) to keep the soil moist and grow roots.

i think it’s a burros tail! before my plant obsession, i was gifted one and \*severely\* neglected it. i had no idea what i was doing. the first pic was the day i repotted it. second pic is what it’s looking like today - a couple of months in between. it’s certainly still a rehab in progress but it looks very similar to what i started with.

here’s that second pic. i popped it into an all purpose succulent mix and it’s doing fantastically. the default watering settings for it on this app has worked great for me.
