Maybe one of these puppies? This page says it’s too early for you to be seeing them, but it’s not too far off so maybe it’s the right plant. What do you think?

That looks so close but it’s actually branching with multiple flowers per one shoot (very spaced out though) and instead of it being .5incjes I’d say it’s closer to .25 or maybe even a little smaller. Very nice find though, nearly identical flower shape

This is what the Seek app thinks. Some kind of wild geranium. However doesn’t seem to match the leaves on your friend.

Oh wow this I think might be it but so weird I didn’t plant it and it’s showing up out here. Possibly not though the petals aren’t quite as rounded
