# My girlfriend has a plant and it’s possibly dead but I would love to…

My girlfriend has a plant and it’s possibly dead but I would love to try and resurrect it for her, its a bonsai of some description but not 100% sure and let me know if it’s possible to bring back to life

You can tell if it's dead by removing the bark with your fingernail/knife. If you see green underneath it's alive. If not it's dead.

I tried but it was quite hard to pull it away or scrape it away, would that mean it’s still living?

Try cutting one of those branches that obviously had leaves on it to see if it’s green
