# So my upstairs neighbor moved out a few months ago \& left behind…

So my upstairs neighbor moved out a few months ago \& left behind whatever this is on the porch. I’ve been seeing its growth and figured i might as well try to keep it alive, but i have no clue what it is. Anybody have an idea? Im currently picking out all the dead leaves \& such that have gotten in there.

Mint was my first thought too, or possibly oregano? Hard to tell from the picture. Crush a leaf between your fingers and see what it smells like.

Okay i knew i wasn’t crazy when i got a minty smell while cleaning up the dead leaves! Lol. What about the long skinny stuff? It has a different smell but i can’t make it out. Im brand new to the plant life so I really no clue haha

I have no idea what that stuff is! I thought maybe a weed, but really not sure.

Look up hairy bittercress. I think that might be it.

I have a mint plant that looks a lot like it but the other plants I’m pretty sure those are weeds
