# Need help identifying what’s left of a plant purchased a few months…

_Posted by NewbPlantMama on 2024-07-09_

Need help identifying what’s left of a plant purchased a few months ago and left outside. It originally had shoots of aloe. Google and Planta say stonecrop and jade plant. I’d like to repot it if possible! \*Updated to add a picture I found of the original!

Does it have roots? If so, yes replant it. If not, let it’s cut point dry out for a day or two, then proceed with rooting it in water or just stick it in a pot with something else until it has its own roots.

It does have roots; I’m gonna have to find something small enough to repot it in…thank you!!

Welcome.😊 It will need a pot that it’s roots can almost reach the bottom and sides of. Maybe a 2” nursery or terracotta pot?
