# Hello again plant friends! I have another plant I need helping…

Hello again plant friends!

I have another plant I need helping identifying. Do you know what type of Calathea plant this is? (Bottom part of the leaves has a nice purplish color to it). Thank you all in advance, I have one more plant I’ll be inquiring about soon 🤗

Good luck. They are very picky plants but when they thrive they are beautiful. I have three calatheas.

Thank you Phil! We’re realizing how temperamental this plant is after reading about it. Such a beautiful plant though so hopefully we’re able to keep her alive. We have a couple other types of calatheas that are thriving. We’re just a little nervous about when we leave town for Thanksgiving. Hoping my M-I-L can tend to her for us. 🤞🏻

Question, do you mist your Jungle Velvet? I’ve read mixed reviews about misting them.

I have a humidifier running 24/7 in the area where my tropicals are. I aim for about 50% humidity. Here is a photo of one. I took for the Planta update.
