Found this plant in my backyard and I never noticed it before the plant could’ve been there but the flowers were not.

Likely a panicled aster (Symphyotrichum lanceolatum)

These are a bit unruly in growth habit, but they're fantastic for pollinators. All the bees and wasps in my yard love wild asters

I did see a lot of bees around it but they looked more like sweat bees
