Hey anyone know what this plant is? My grandpa recently moved to a nursing home with dementia so I can’t ask him… my identifier keep suggesting not lily but I have a boat lily and it does not look the same

Also should I pull the brown things off that I think were white flowers?

And I am planning to repot (he had a lot of pants I’m slowly working through them) should I separate the baby that’s sprouting? If so is there anything I should know or do I just put the baby in dirt and hope for the best?

I haven’t found anything on what the plant is, but the flower pod does look pretty similar to a boatlily 🤔 You should take off any dead flowers, that’s what I’ve done for any of my flowering plants. I’d personally just leave the little plant in there, but if you do repot the baby plant, make sure it is in a pot that fits the rootball. I hope you can figure out what the plant is!

It could be just a different variety then the other one I have, it is much larger too
