A’ight how long must I wait for Phoebe to grace me with her first bloom?! 🤣

\- 5+ years old
\- been fertilized
\- in a window
\- normal watering, but not often, has drainage
\- consistently has new growth
\- never pruned
\- no pests
\- same pot

🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m wondering as well. On year three with a smaller one than yours as well as numerous other Hoyas with no blooms. I’m hoping this is the year for some of them!

I have 2 others that are small, 1 brand new, 1 that’s 2-3 ish years old, so I have no expectations there, but I’m like what gives 😂

Does it need to be repotted. Very carefully, of course. Do you have a friend that would hold to branches to keep them from flopping around when you repot ?

I don’t know. Google said they like being root bound and no extra space but I’m always afraid to disturb it.

There’s rootbound and then there’s ROOT BOUND!! Which is it. They can’t stay in a pot forever

It took my obovata three years to bloom its first bloom, last year. This year on year four it sent out a second bloom on the same branches.
