# Does anyone know what this Hoya is? When I got it it was just labeled…

Does anyone know what this Hoya is? When I got it it was just labeled “Hoya.” I don’t think it’s a pubicalyx or carnosa because its leaves are so much thicker than my other Hoya plants. It’s also got two little purple spots, but they might just be damage. If anyone has any ideas I’d love to hear them!

Also, I got it almost 2 months ago and it hasn’t pushed out any new leaves - is there something I can do to promote new growth?

Hard to say exactly. But ya my guess is either carnosa or pubicalyx

Looks just like my pubicalyx.

They are slow growers. Mine just stops putting out new leaves when I bring it inside for winter.
