# hello! 👋😊 i am new to Hoyas! i got this beauty at a farmers market…

hello! 👋😊

i am new to Hoyas! i got this beauty at a farmers market and she lost her leaves and i think the pot is way too big yeah! i’ve been recommended to downsize :)

i removed dead leaves and tend to her when needed.
she receives east light and there’s been a grow light too!

super amazing to see these buds as i did what i could, so i would be thankful for any helpful advice!
downsize? identification, soil \& repot?

the second stem doesn’t seem to be doing anything and i don’t know what the white discoloration is on the soil :(

i own orchid bark, succulent/cacti mix, and need to re-up on soil 😊

i’d love for her to flourish and to clean her up!

I can't see the whole leaf so i can't id it but yes definitely put her in a much smaller plt. One that is just 1in bigger then the root ball. Then water her only when all the way dry. East sun with growlight is perfect!!
