There was discussion about how Hoyas grow, hanging or trellised. I think the photo is a perfect example of what usually happens when a Hoya is trained down or in a circle or when it hangs down. It grows a vine at the top of the curve.

This is H. hellwigiana. She was growing just fine and producing leaves without a trellis, but when she started blooming, I gave her a trellis for support. The vine is circling the front of the trellis.
