Hi there,

I’ve had this Hoya Hindu rope for over a year now and it literally hasn’t grown, hasn’t flowered, nothing. I know Hoyas are slow growers but I’m starting to think I could be doing something wrong. Someone send help 😂.

Many Hoyas are very fast growing, but not H. compacta. I seldom notice new growth on mine but then I’ll compare pictures and realize it’s grown quite a bit! You might also check for mites as they will inhibit new growth. You’ll need a microscope in order to see them. You can get one for around $20 online that connect to a phone or tablet app.

I’ve had my Hindu in the same south facing window for 10 years. Loves it.
