Can we talk fertilizers?
Though I only fertilize when I see active growth and all my plants are slowing down now, I wanted to share the results of a recent comparison I made.
I'd been using Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 through the spring \& summer but switched about a month ago to Sea Grow all purpose 16-16-16 and HOLY MOLY!!
Growth spurts everywhere!

What do y'all use?

I started using osmocote last month and the root and leaf growth was explosive!

My hoyas are in leca or pon. I use a liquid fertilizer called foliage focus (brown bottle). I mix one tablespoon of it in a gallon of water and shake it. Then, I do a reservoir with water and this mixture on the botton cachepot filled with 1/3 of the height of the plant pot.

I use either foliage pro or we the wild. I just ordered a special Hoya fertilizer off Etsy, the reviews were pretty good!

I use osmocote in the chunky soil mix I use and then spray the leaves with miracle grow orchid fertilizer. They seem to like it.

I've noticed a lot of people using Osmocote..
I'm gonna check it out this spring.
My media is coco chips, charcoal and perlite #3.
Definitely chunky.
