Does anyone have the prehistoric looking Hoyas?? Examples include clemensiorum, imbricata, caudata Sumatra, callistophylla, mitrata, Jennifer, undulata, etc

Btw this is in no way a real classification it’s just a vibe that they give off lol. I think they commonly have ruffles, serrated edges, prominent veining, sunstressing, and splashing.

I think these are so funky and stunning especially when they bloom 🤩

And this photo is NOT mine (on instagram as @plants.eat.sleep.repeat) haha it’s a Hoya undulata

It still amazes me every day when I see plants and flowers I’ve never seen before, even after years of learning. Like I’m on some alien planet, discovering!

I just learned that splashing is caused by air bubbles caught in the epidermis 🤯 there’s endless info!

Idk if this would work for your space but acrylic window shelves for plants! I haven’t gotten any yet but I should 😌

We are thinking alike. We built a shelf in the kitchen window and doubled the window space there. I’m eyeballing other windows to do the same.

This really is a sickness…
